Abstract

The Fellowship of Hill, and Wind, and Sunshine was an Arts Council England funded project with the National Trust and Mouthful, commemorating the centenary in 2018 of the gift of fourteen summits to the nation as a war memorial after the Great War. The ‘leave no trace’ project explored the power of this memorial through a song cycle sung by a 'scratch' choir on each of the summits over the summer, in May, June and July 2018.
