Abstract

Four settings of poems by Giuseppe Ungaretti for baritone and chamber orchestra, duration 18 minutes. This piece was commissioned by the Welsh Chamber Orchestra with the assistance of the Arts Council of Wales. It was premiered on 8 October 2010 by Jeremy Huw Williams (baritone) and the Welsh Chamber Orchestra conducted by Anthony Hose.
