Abstract

For solo cello and chamber orchestra, duration 12 minutes. This piece was premiered on 17 November 2016 by Maya Beiser (cello) and the Swedish Chamber Orchestra conducted by Thomas Dausgaard at the Concert Hall, Örebro. Its UK premiere was given by the same performers at the BBC Proms on 5 August 2018.
