Abstract

For solo cello, obbligato horn, and orchestra, duration 20 minutes. This piece was written for cellist Paul Watkins and was premiered by him on 13 October 2012 with the Royal Flemish Philharmonic conducted by Edo de Waart at De Singel, Antwerp.
