For four solo horns and orchestra, duration 15 minutes. This work was commissioned by EMI Records to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 1997. It was premiered on 5 July 1997 by Claire Briggs, Peter Currie, Mark Philips and Peter Dyson (solo horns) and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra conducted by Simon Rattle at Symphony Hall, Birmingham.
