For string trio (violin, viola and cello), duration 17 minutes. This piece was commissioned by the Nash Ensemble and was first performed on 4 July 2006 at the Cheltenham Music Festival. It has four movements: 1. Choler, 2. North, 3. Spring, and 4. Ether.
