For solo piano, duration 21 minutes 30 seconds. The five pieces which comprise 'A book of colours' were written between 1988 and 1993. 1. Duendecitos, 2. figurine, 3. a shapeless flame, 4. some distant chimes, 5. the thing that makes ashes.
