Abstract

A setting of Goethe's poem Lunas Zauberschein, for mezzo-soprano voice and bass flute, duration 6 minutes. This piece was first performed by Margaret McDonald (mezzo-soprano) and Julie Rees (bass flute) at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, on 20 March 1979.
