Abstract

For symphonic wind band, duration 12 minutes. This piece was first performed by the Royal Northern College of Music Wind Orchestra conducted by Clark Rundell as part of the BASBWE/RNCM International Wind Festival in April 2000. It has been recorded by the Royal Northern College of Music Wind Orchestra, conducted by Clark Rundell (Chandos CHAN10284); the International Youth Wind Orchestra conducted by Glenn Price (Mark Custom Records 4745-MCD); the AAAA Honor Band Friendswood High School Wind Ensemble conducted by Gregory Dick (Mark Custom Records 8759-MCD); the Pennsylvania All-State Concert Band conducted by John Oelrich (Mark Custom Records 52751-MCD); the Showa Wind Symphony conducted by Eugene Migliaro Corporon (Cafua Records CACG-0032); the Northwestern State University of Louisiana Wind Symphony conducted by Jeffrey C. Matthews (Mark Custom Records 54981-MCD); and the University of Calgary Wind Ensemble conducted by Glenn Price (Arktos Recordings 200148).
