Abstract

For brass band, duration 5 minutes. This piece was first performed on 3 February 2001 by the Black Dyke Band conducted by Nicholas Childs at the Royal Northern College of Music Festival of Brass. It has been recorded by the Leyland Band conducted by Michael Fowles (Faber Music 0-571-52109-9); the Yorkshire Building Society Band conducted by David King (Polyphonic QPRL 214D); the Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines conducted by Lt. Col. Chris Davies (Doyen DOY CD191); the European Youth Brass Band (Doyen DOY CD281); and Foden's Band conducted by Michael Fowles (Doyen DOY CD309).
