Abstract
Six pieces for solo piano: Breaking line (2001); Godafoss (2002); Matrix (2006); For David (2007); Counterpoints; and Ballet. Breaking line was premiered by Michael Finnissy at the Adur Festival, Godafoss was first performed by Stephen Gutman at the Pianissimo Festival, and Matrix was premiered by Julian Jacobson in the Royal College of Music concert hall. The recordings available on the audio tab below are by Stephen Gutman (Breaking line and Matrix) and Rustam Khanmurzin (Godafoss).
