Abstract

For flute and orchestra, duration 18 minutes. This work was first performed on 18 April 2009 by Dietmar Wiesner (flute) and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ilan Volkov at the Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow. It is based on Samuel Beckett's monologue 'Not I' which was performed by actress Fiona Shaw as part of the premiere.
