Abstract

For cello and piano, duration 5 minutes. The two pieces are titled 'MacLaren's Farewell' and 'Vocalise.' This work was premiered on 17 December 2001 by Doris Hochscheid (cello) and Frans van Ruth (piano) at the Uilenburger Synagogue, Amsterdam. It has been recorded by Paul Watkins (cello) and Ian Brown (piano) on Onyx Classics (ONYX4005) see https://onyxclassics.com/release/turnage-this-silence/.
