Abstract

For solo viola and mixed octet (cor anglais, clarinet, horn, harp, piano, violin, cello, and double bass), duration 10 minutes. This work was premiered on 7 July 2003 at the Pittville Pump Room, Cheltenham, performed by Lawrence Power (viola) and the Nash Ensemble conducted by Lionel Friend.
