For mezzo-soprano and piano, duration 18 minutes. This work sets texts by Emily Dickinson, Shakespeare, James Joyce, Hardy, T.S. Eliot and Stevie Smith, and was premiered on 25 June 2022 at Snape Concert Hall by Sarah Connolly (mezzo-soprano) and Joseph Middleton (piano).
