Abstract

A presentation & practical workshop with Dr. Dave Camlin introducing 'dialogic space' as a concept for broadening participation, exploring complexity and encountering difference. Through dialogue and practical activities, the workshop explored questions like: • How can we avoid reinforcing the boundaries of our own professional world, and instead make them more diffuse? • How do we create opportunities to encounter different perspectives to our own? • How can we resist consensus, and instead meet each other as unique and singular individuals? • How can we think and play our way into a different social reality? • And why would we want to?
