Abstract

For violin, bass clarinet, and piano, duration 12 minutes. This piece was first performed on 24 September 2013 by the Pacific Trio: Adrian Hon Wai Poon (clarinet), Imma Setiadi (piano) and Michael Foyle (violin), at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, London. A version for violin, cello and piano is also available; SPIKE (I) in this version was premiered on 11 September 2015 by Jieun Han (violin), Ji-Yeon Kim (cello), and Hye-in Wang (piano), at the Dream Forest Arts Centre, Seoul, Korea.
