Abstract

For piano solo, duration 25 minutes. This piece was written for Daniel Becker, who gave the premiere on 8 March 2006 at the Purcell Room, London. It is formed of five movements: Epigram; Of silence and slow time; Epigraph; Cold pastoral; and Mad pursuits. A recording by Maria Marchant is available on SoundCloud (see the audio tab below).
