Abstract

For soprano saxophone and ensemble, duration 22 minutes. In five movements: 1) Talking Ghosts; 2) Imagined Order; 3) Shells and Cigarettes; 4) Empty Maps; 5) Data Religion. This work was premiered in December 2018 by Simon Haram (saxophone) and the London Sinfonietta, conducted by Jessica Cottis in the Purcell Room, London. It was nominated for an Ivors Composer Award in 2019.
